室內坪數限制之下，專注於減法美學的意念上，謹慎地審視生活需求，將空間一一梳理而成，在可變與不可變之間尋找平衡，捨棄習以為常的公領域型態，讓機能得以因應不同情境而變動，生活環繞在一張大餐桌，牆面留白則可影音投影使用，而磁磚分割線條則呈現牆面的不同表情。空間為雙面採光，因格局需求而劃分，以開放性配置及玻璃元素引光入室，衛浴破口設計不僅延續材質，更讓光線得以流通，回應現代人的新生活型態，在繁忙雜亂的生活中過濾必要與不必要的，心是，空間亦是。
Under the constraints of interior space, the design team sought to focus on the concept of subtractive aesthetics, scrutinizing the living needs and organizing the space one by one to strike a balance between the changeable and the immutable while discarding the common public realm structure to allow the functions to change in response to different situations. A large dining table is the center of daily life, leaving white space on the wall for audio-visual projection. Tile spacers show the different expressions of the wall.
Light is drawn into the space from both sides, with an open floor plan and glass materials to create more light in the room. The design of the bathroom not only uses the same material theme, but also allows light to permeate, responding to the new lifestyle of modern people by filtering out the unnecessary in our busy and chaotic lives, which applies to the mind as well as to the space.
